Watercolour of Yellow Umbrella

Linda Nissen Samuels is an artist specialising in oils, acrylic and watercolour. Her work speaks of her love of light and colour. Born in South Africa, she spends her time painting in both London and Cannes and has exhibited at the Royal Society of Marine Artists and Singer and Friedlander exhibitions in the Mall Galleries, as well as curating her own gallery for three years in London.

On the Riviera, Linda has had numerous one-woman exhibitions and in May 2007 won a gold medal at the International Grand Prix de Prestige de Cannes, following on from her bronze medal the previous year. She has work in the Mayor of Cannes' Collection. For several years Linda has designed images for the international charity Water Aid. These images are now available as highly specialised giclée prints on German etching paper.
